how do you insert a USB HDD to a PS3?

I know with a standard USB you just put in the slots but how do you insert a USB HDD? Do you need a USB adaptor to connect it to the PS3?

Just plug it in.

But don’t expect it to work unless it’s formatted to fat32

I mean, I want to backup my games (wink, wink) and power play Em Swap Magic is safe for the tank, as it is to place a card slides in and drawing on the back. For the fat PS2? While installing a bridge over the high fat PS2 is probably safer to get a card. Heres a video on how to install the top cover of rigor, but also gives some information.
