What is the best external hard drive?

I want to buy an external hard drive. My main concern is reliability and size.

Reliability would mean a raid 0 external.
(mirror image)

Basically raid 0 means if one drive dies, the other will still be there.

How do I copy files from my DVD + RW …?

I have a machine ILO DVD RW Mess giant. It obviously can burn files to DVD DVDRW. Recently I connected my Hi8 camcorder to the computer and burned a movie on a tape to a DVD ± RW Maxell. when I put on my DVD ± RW computer file types bizarre [DRT etc] and can not import the video into Windows Movie Maker. Is there a way for me to import files from my camera video, or do I buy / PCI USB audio / video for my model?

you need to make different software, not hardware, and possibly hardware but the software comes with Roxio Easy CD / DVD. I have used successfully and burned some old videos now and Christmas for my children in a movie and save it on a DVD later .. It takes practice to learn how to use it, but Windows Movie Maker has many errors in it and not really do what you want. Good luck and you need a little patience .. make a cut of the film and publishing portions of the tape you want save to make it look good. I even burned a little music on the DVD after making a home movie and MTV with music videos from the last .. .. pretty cool

I bought a USB2 External 1TB – Toshiba hard disk, and some video files saved on she. I connected my DVD player because it has a USB port, but says "No files playable. However, if I put the same video file in another pen drive and plug it into the DVD drive during playback. I do not understand what is wrong. Can someone please tell me what be done? Thank you
