how to install a dvd burner?

how do i install a dvd burner ? ive already got a dvd drive and cdrw drive in my computer. where do i put the ide cable and audio cable ?can i have a link or sum steps on how to install it.
also i dont much about the jumpers i need help on them. note: ive already got a cdrw and a dvd rom installed . i want to install a 3rd drive(dvd rw) .
i dont want to remove any of my drives , i want to add a 3rd one. its dvd rw which burns cds aswe ll. is this possible or not ?

Sound like you are running out of space. What you should do is return your DVD burner, for a multi purpose burner on that will burn both DVD’s and CD’s, then dump your CD burner and get a DVD/CD player for your PC. If you don’t want to go through all that you should be able to piggy back your new burner off of one of your other players.

I was wondering how much memory I would need to download and store a movie on a portable flash drive? Would it be acceptable to get a 1gb or 2gb flash usb drive? Do I need to compress the movies? I basically would like to download a movie and watch it at work through the usb port. Also, anyone know of any good websites to download movies? How much memory does a movie take up?

A typical compress movie which is in .avi format could be put on a 1 gig drive, the typical compressed movie is 700MB and there is 1,000 MB available on a 1 gig drive…

Extracting pictures on camera memory without usb?

I recently purchased a digital camera in a pawn shop. It didn’t come with a USB cord, so i’ve always just taken the memory card out and plugging that into my computer. But recently, I’ve taken a few pictures which is held on the camera’s memory, and I need help extracting them.

I had the same problem, but I had a Sony camera. When your looking at the pictures on the playback menu, there should be a menu option while looking at pics. In that, you should find something like, “selected folder to store pictures: …” (the … represents what your memory card is named.) If you go into chosing another folder, you’ll find the camera’s memory folder, usually the name of the camera. When you get into that, you can usually just copy those pics from the memory to the card. Sorry for the sloppy directions, but that’s as good as I can explain it.
