Can I connect an AC adapter for Acer laptop from IBM?

My power adapter for my IBM laptop is about die. The cable in the black plastic is broken, and I realized the son metal begin to emerge. I had my office on a tape in the good position to face successfully charge my battery. So my question is, I have a ACER replacement adapter at home, can I connect to my computer IBM laptop? My computer can fly above or adapter? It is a story I heard. Please help before I can recharge my laptop already! X

Network Setup SBS 2003?

Ok, thank you, I came here. So now I have my basic configurations include: SBS 2003 R2 running email, web FTP, DNS, perhaps, and all user data. I'm going with hot-swappable SCSI RAID 1, RAID 5 for the operating system and data, all with LTO tape backup. Two T1 enter a static IP router will forward all the ports required by the firewall, the box SBS and switching users. That is all local. So now I have two questions … 1. Is it going to be too much for a server to manage? 2. What should I do with people who are not local? We have two or three sites that should be easy (only a few users each), whereas I think a VPN for them. My biggest concern is our convenient location where they broadcast via satellite and have their own transmission network of a half-ass. What is the easiest way link to our site … trusted domains on a WAN? When will its authentication, etc.? What am I missing? How I can put it all together?

SBS 2003 has a usage limit of 50 or 75 users, not sure what you have two T1, I think many users, and do not think he will trust with another domain.

Can I use a tape drive on a desktop computer?

Ok this mite be a very stupid question but I'm not really on chip computer. This mite just for servers, but I think it is possible that the mites I have a Tandberg LTO 3 internal tape drive. and I a band 400 / 800 gigabytes, I mean it's a storage space there. The connection similar to a normal unit can put in a PC. So I wonder if you can set this unit to a desk and use this band for space as a disk drive. I know this mite be a stupid question please bare with me. Information. would be greatly appreciated. I'm not really much of a professional but I'll try … I really think tape drives can work in an office, that office has the necessary connections to work with the tape drive. for this reader particular band is used for SCSI and SAS interface. So if you have a SCSI port on your desktop might work. for the SAS interface, I am sure Will it work if you have a connector SAS and SAS equipment is already available in some high-end desktop.
